Program Evaluation

It's all about the students. "Four Star Quality Assessment" assures that school age care is developmentally appropriate. This is a self-evaluation tool to assist school administration and afterschool program staff to focus on quality. There are 20 rubrics which define quality. The stars are cumulative. For example, a 3-star rating cannot be earned unless all the components of the 2-star rating are met. This rating tool is the synthesis and compilation of many state and national standards to establish and define quality afterschool programming for elementary students.
