Information Technology Services (ITS)

The Information Technology Services (ITS) department is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of over 1,250 servers and 6,500 network switches and routers. Wireless network service is provided through over 12,000 wireless access points and is continuing to grow to meet the needs of our students and employees. Internet access is provided to all OCPS sites through a large, aggregate connection. The ITS infrastructure enables connectivity for more than 150,000 networked devices and 23,000 telephones. The Wide Area Network (WAN) is spread across Orange County and is located in over 220 locations organized in five physical learning community offices, the Ronald Blocker Educational Leadership Center, four transportation depots, warehousing and facility offices, other sites.

In addition to the delivery of email and centralized business system support, the district provides virus protection, state reporting, VOIP telephony, and hardware support.
