    • Two fire/emergency egress drills are required to meet your August requirement.
    • In February a severe weather (tornado warning) drill is required. In March an active assailant drill (lockdown drill) is required.
    • Yes, there are 4 types of Emergency Evacuation Drills (Fire, Severe Weather, Lockdown, Bomb Threat). Any of the four are acceptable to meet your monthly requirement as stated in Management Directive A-8.
    • Access the Emergency Evacuation Drill Report database. After you logon, select "Year Summary". This will show you all the drills that have been entered for the school year.
    • With the exception of August, the database will only accept one drill per month. If your second drill is the one you would like to have online, then access the Emergency Evacuation Drill database and click on "Add / Edit Our Drills", then click on the "Edit" button to the left of the drill date you would like to Edit. Change the information to reflect the new drill information and click on the "Save/Update this Drill" button at the bottom of the form.
    • A hard copy of any extra drills that are performed during those months should be kept on file at the school.
    • Complete the Monthly Fire Extinguisher Report online. This information is reviewed by the maintenance department on a regular basis. The information you provide enables maintenance to determine the amount and type of extinguishers that need to be replaced.
    • When more than 25% of your work location’s fire extinguishers need to be replaced, check the box marked “Campus Wide” when entering your report.
    • The date punched on the hanging tag/sticker on the extinguisher reflects the date of service. The expiration date will be 1 year from that date.
