Food Service Manager

A dual school is when we have two smaller schools in the same area that serve less than 500 meals per day.  There is one Food Service Manager over two dual schools.

Government audits depend on the year and the schools are randomly chosen by the USDA.  There are two (2) onsite reviews per year for Food Service Managers.  Health Department Inspections are three (3) times per year.

The Angel Fund is given to the Parent Teach Organization (PTO) or Parent Teacher Association (PTA) from FNS to pay for meals when paying students don’t have money.  PTO/PTA is responsible for raising money to renew and replenish this fund.

The After School Snack Program (ASSP) provides snacks at no charge if the school is 50% Free/Reduced and offers an enrichment program.
