The purpose of this site is to provide schools and departments with some basic information on the fiscal monitoring completed by Finance for Grant Funds.


What does the Grants Accounting Area do in the Finance Department?

  • Reviews & Approves Grant Fund Shopping Carts
  • Reviews & Approves Account Pays for Grant Funds
  • Reviews & Approves Reclassification Forms for Grant Funds
  • Reviews &  Submits Grant Fund Direct Pays for payment
  • Review & Preparation of Invoices for Grant Funds
  • Preparation of the Final FA399 or other Financial reporting for Grant Funds to the Florida Department of Education or Funding Agency
  • Preparation of the annual Schedule of Federal Expenditures (SEFA)
  • Respond to requests for financial reports from agencies, auditors and other parties for Grant Funds
  • Oversight for the completion of Time and Effort requirements for Federally funded projects (PARS and 100% Work Completion)
