Storing and maintaining records in electronic format is one of the safest, if not the safest, methods of retaining records created throughout the course of business here at OCPS.  This page contains policy, statute, and Florida Administrative Code as they relate to best practices of electronic records management.

ApplicationXtender/Documentum

The District currently uses ApplicationXtender which is an enterprise content management (ECM) solution.  This software is a secure electronic file folder that houses OCPS' long term and permanent records such as student transcripts and personnel files.  Security is solely based upon job specific functions that require retrieval of those types of records in order to perform their duties.  For more information, please contact records@ocps.net.
