All requests must be submitted via Facilitron. Emergencies should be called into the Regional Maintenance Area, Asset Protection/Safety & Security systems, or Grounds & Pest control. After-hours emergency response is dispatched by OCPS District Police (407-317-3333).
Facilities Maintenance is responsible for maintaining existing Buildings, Grounds & Infrastructure at all OCPS properties. Schools are responsible for submitting repair requests via Facilitron. Services are provided through 3 regional building maintenance areas, and centralized departments for Grounds & Pest Control and Asset Protection/Safety & Security Systems, as well as certain preventive maintenance functions. Facilities issues beyond the scope of routine repair & maintenance (such as donation projects, new work/improvements) are supported by a team of Facilities Managers/Client Liaisons.
The status of all submitted Facilities Maintenance requests is visible to schools via Facilitron. Further inquiries should be directed to the responsible department within the maintenance department or one of those listed below.

Custodial Services is responsible for managing all Custodial services at High School & District sites, and providing support to Elementary & Middle Schools.
Environmental Compliance investigates health concerns associated with buildings.
Facilities Construction is responsible for all new school construction, comprehensive renovation & major systems replacements.
Food & Nutrition Services is responsible for School Kitchens and associated equipment.
Information Technology Services is responsible for all network infrastructure.
Office of the Fire Mashall performs all Annual Comprehensive Facility Inspections (ACFI).
Risk Management – All property damage must be reported to Risk Management.
Schools are responsible for repairs & replacement to Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E).
Sustainability manages Energy/Water Conservation & Recycling programs (including HVAC schedules & set points).
