Silver PRIDE Award - Quarterly

This award is celebrated quarterly by department leaders.  The nominees are extracted from the WoW! Recognition certificates that have been received in the previous three months.  Criteria have a point value assigned and point values are calculated by the Recognition Committee at monthly meetings.  The employee with the highest point value in each department becomes nominated for the Silver PRIDE award.  In the event of a tie within a department, both nominees are forwarded to Employee Relations (ER) for review.  Nominees with open or founded resolutions are not eligible for the quarterly PRIDE award.  In the event of a tie where both nominees are not founded, the Recognition committee will carefully consider the information on the certificates then apply points (1-5) that are added to the calculated point value.  Final nominees are then subject to approval from department leaders and final approval is requested from the Chief Operations Officer.

Gold Employee of the Year Award - Annual

Monthly employee certificate point value calculations are collected for the school year.  If an employee within a department has received multiple WoW! Recognitions within the school year, the point value is combined for a final score.  The employee with the highest point, value who is not founded within ER, and is approved by the department leader and the Chief Operations Officer is awarded employee of the year for the Operations Division.
