PIP FAQ's

PIP applications are processed in the order in which they are received.  The PIP department may take up to 45 days to process applications.

Only students identified as having a disability and who have an active (not expired) IEP can receive PIP services. The Florida state statute is written under Chapter 1003, Section 572 - Section 2. 

Private Instructional Personnel (PIP) Insurance Guidelines - All PIPs and RBTs MUST submit proof of Insurance. These are general guidelines to assist a PIP/RBT with gathering certificates of insurance. However, it is the responsibility of the PIP/RBT to read the full PIP packet to understand the monetary requirements for insurance per OCPS vendor policy.

• Sole Proprietor form - Independent contractors and providers who are self-employed MUST complete a Sole Proprietor form in addition to the PIP packet.

***School staff will no longer accept PIP packets. It is the responsibility of the parent/provider to upload the packet and supporting documents.
