PIP applications are processed in the order in which they are received. The PIP department may take up to 45 days to process applications.
Only students identified as having a disability and who have an active (not expired) IEP can receive PIP services. The Florida state statute is written under Chapter 1003, Section 572 - Section 2.
Private Instructional Personnel (PIP) Insurance Guidelines - All PIPs and RBTs MUST submit proof of Insurance. These are general guidelines to assist a PIP/RBT with gathering certificates of insurance. However, it is the responsibility of the PIP/RBT to read the full PIP packet to understand the monetary requirements for insurance per OCPS vendor policy.
