All Board approved vendors or any third party coming onto OCPS property or providing a product or service must provide a current ACORD form Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI) naming the School Board of Orange County as Certificate Holder and Additional Insured. The policy must be endorsed using the language equivalent to both CG2026 4/13 and CG2037 4/13.
Commercial General Liability Coverage must be indicated on an occurrence basis (claims made policies not accepted). The required Limits of Liability are:
>>Policies must not exclude or sublimit coverages for abuse or molestation.
>>Workers Compensation and Employers' Liability will be required upon request.

In the Description section of the COI, please include the reason for providing proof of insurance. For example:

NOTE: Vendors are NOT approved just because they show up in the payables system.
The School Board of Orange County, also known as OCPS, is a municipal entity and as such is only required to provide insurance documents showing their statutory tort liability limits. OCPS is covered under Florida’s Sovereign Immunity Statute 768.28.
Where required by written contract, Risk Management shall provide a Statement of Self Insurance pursuant to Florida Statues 768.28.
